Lulu: 2004-2012

finally finished this long pic~~~~~~~~

initially i thought it's kinda small but didn't wanna make it too big either - so ~2500px is quite enough, i guess? XD;
though it was going to be a lot smaller since originally it started with just 4 characters. in the end why not just draw 1 from each year? and so this was created. also the reason why the top 3 is drawn close together. plus the sketch was drawn in 1 layer...in violet blue this one was shaded in cel style so i don't have to kill SAI nor my PC. it got kind of heavy when i started to shade...XD;

this is also the answer for my poll in which year she was created - i'm not sure if 2004 should be included but because the name was sort of passed on (?) so i believe it is the same character....but because i don't have the original pic of the 2004 one, i've drawn the outfit from my memory (i sort of did recall the character design)....apparently it gave me the impression of santa-like outfit. so that why it does look like one. what can i do
it's interesting that i actually did draw the chao with cat features back in 2004...since i've never played any Sonic game beside Sonic the Hedgehog 3, let alone the fact that you can make your own chao with animal features in Sonic Adventure series...found out that in 2007 with GC guess i love cats too much. she was kind of FC when created, but after 2008~2009 she transferred to OC category.

also while making this long pic i thought of making some side note with some minor changes that was made that year, so now it's like a character meme (except it's not '"before and after" of earliest design vs modern ver; this one's those and the everything in between)

i was actually able to retrieve the 2005 avatar from my old art account too XD though it only had the head part, not the rest of the body, but i did remember the design somewhat from that year...not so sure on shoes but it was something like that. also the creation of the 2005 design was based on spirite. my best friend was MS Paint back then |D
and each outfits are from actual pics i've drawn in the past...not sure if i still had those before 2008 but you can find the others still in the gallery~

by the way, she's the only character that has gone through this many changes in designs. it seems to happen annually too...XD; and after all these years she hasn't changed much in age either....it's like 15->16->back to 12->12->13->14->14-> and so on. she's 14 still btw (2012) *shot*


oh, and 2007ver Ginea was used as my first avatar when i moved to this account. i still have it in fact 8D (created on 5/4/2007, it says) and also one from 2006, with the other account. kinda happy they've survived for this long after several changes i've gone through PCs X'D

kinda funny it has been 5 yrs already since i've moved to this account. though it was on May 3rd. i missed my 5th anniversary...XDDD orz
